Product Description
The GIs (derived from ‘General Issue’, a nickname for US soldiers) of the rifle platoons form the core of a company. These ‘dog faces’ are well trained and have seen combat, though unlike fresher units, they are well aware of the risks and dangers of battle. They are also well known for their scrounging capabilities, augmenting their platoons with unauthorised weapons such as bazookas stripped from transport vehicles. While strictly against the rules, the GIs know better than others that they’ll need the added firepower in the coming campaigns.
The Rifle Platoon (winter) can be used to make a Rifle Platoon, Parachute Rifle Platoon or Glider Platoon.
