The Resistance have always operated a huge range of battlecruisers while the UCM have only recently revived the concept. Most of these venerable ships date back before the Scourge invasion and survived due to their potent mix of speed and firepower. A few of the best equipped Resistance forces have capacity to manufacture new vessels, as does the rogue colony of Kalium.
All true warships are prized and carefully used by most Resistance admirals as they’re often irreplaceable assets. As the galaxy-wide conflict grows, more are finally being committed to war, some classes of which have not been seen in action since the days of mankind’s height.
Supercruisers and grand cruisers, both of which share some commonality with battlecruisers, are appearing in greater numbers and variety, as are the upgraded pocket battleships. Several of these include launch clamps for self deploying, skyscraper-sized surface instillations. These were well established before the war—another concept recently revived by the UCM. Resistance examples include scanner domes, ark landers, and the dreaded ICBM silos.
This box includes:
2 Plastic Battlecruisers
2 Dropfleet bases
Each sprue lets you build any one (1) of the included ships, and you get two identical sprues. No ship requires parts from both sprues, so you can build any two ships from that list that you want, including two of the same (e.g two Akumas, a Bannik plus a Kikimora, etc).
Miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Other ships and gaming mats are for scale purposes only. Clear acrylic bases will require super glue and may have a protective blue film on one side that will need removing.
