Product Description
The men of the Australian Imperial Force returning from North Africa are experienced veterans. Most riflemen are armed with the .303-calibre Short Magazine Lee–Enfield (SMLE, aka. ‘Smelly’), a reliable and accurate weapon, although relatively slow firing. The rifle platoon's main firepower comes from its three accurate and reliable .303-calibre Bren light machine-guns. Using the Bren Gun as a base of fire, they manoeuvre closer to the enemy, then use their rifle fire to cover the Bren Gun as it advances.
