Another hit from Wargames Atlantic
Wargames Atlantic brings us an almost perfect box of miniatures in the French Resistance Partisans. As with other sets from them, you'll need to supply your own bases. The figures are well sculpted and there are several options for Pistols and SMGs, an LMG, and a couple of rifles. The figures scale well with other lines, especially Warlord Games Bolt Action line. The figures are quick to assemble, and there are a variety of heads including berets, a bowler hat, and even a hat that could make a decent Indiana Jones figure. With that said, there are a few ways this set could be better. First, a better mix of rifles/SMGs would have been nice. You'll need to raid your bits box if you want more guys with rifles. Second, there are only four body options, which may be fine for a uniform but isn't great for civilian clothing. Third, it would be nice if there were some instructions, even if they were online, explaining which arms go together. These are minor criticisms of an overall great box of miniatures for the price. There are enough options in heads and arms to make miniatures that look unique, and if you have a decently stocked bits box you can easily use arms from Warlord on these figures.
