Product Description
The Krupp-Protze was a six-wheeled 6x4 German truck and artillery tractor produced between 1934 and 1941, which was heavily used during World War II. Around 7,000 units were made.
Powered by a 55 hp or 60 hp (from 1936) Krupp M 304 4-cylinder petrol engine, its main purpose was to tow artillery (in particular the PaK 36,) and transport motorized infantry.
It saw extensive used throughout the Eastern Front, the North African campaign, and in France and Sicily. The Krupp-Protze was of relatively advanced design - its fuel consumption was relatively high (24 Litres / 100 km on road) in comparison to the comparable Opel Blitz 1.5 t truck (16.5 liters / 100 km, produced 1938 - 1942).
Contains 1 resin and metal vehicle. (includes Driver)
Note: This product is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints not included.

Nice resin model
Not too long ago I thought I preferred plastic models for my Bolt Action armies. However, I'm really starting to fall in love with the ease of assembly of the resin models since it helps you to get the unit to the table faster. This kit only has about twenty pieces, and goes together quickly with super glue after a quick wash in soapy water. While the Germans used this as a truck, in Bolt Action it is currently considered a Heavy Field Car. While the resin itself is light weight, the metal parts add quite a bit of weight to the finished model. If you are pressed for time, this is definitely the way to go even though the price is a bit higher. If you have the time and patience there are plastic kits available from Rubicon and Tamiya, depending on which scale you prefer. As for me, this it the only way I'd go.
