Good, but with a caveat
A bit pricey as game mats go, but being double-sided and in 2 very good schemes for historical games of all types, the value is definitely there. The mats themselves are made of tough neoprene and the print is good high quality, if a bit bright. The big downside is that GF9 packs these in a standard box, folded, which means you get massive creases that require flattening with boards/glass/etc. and/or ironing to correct. Don't expect these to be usable fresh out of the box!

The Grassland & Desert gaming mat is a great purchase for anyone in the market for a 6’x4’ gaming mat. Having the ability to have a multi purpose mat that covers your historical hobby range from the deserts of North Africa to the plains of Gettysburg is ideal not just in price but storage space as well. For none historical gaming it gives you a well rounded option for most settings whether it be Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars Legion, or Fallout. The mat is of a good solid construction that lays flat on the gaming table. The box it comes in is a cardboard box which will wear over time so store it with care like you would any of your hobby miniatures. All in all I’m very pleased with the purchase of this mat and would recommend it to anyone seeking a 6’x4’ gaming mat
