Product Description
The Canadians were the first to field the Land Mattress rocket launcher while clearing the Scheldt Estuary in late 1944. Its success there ensured a bigger role, with multiple batteries taking part in the Rhine crossing operations.
Each Land Mattress launcher fires a salvo of thirty rockets fitted with 5-inch (127mm) naval warheads in a matter of seconds. It's not accurate, but it does deluge a large area in explosions without much warning.
