Product Description
The towed 17 pdr gun does the same job of protecting the infantry as the self-propelled M10 and Archer versions, but is much less complicated and cheaper. It is a large weapon and not very mobile, so once it's dug in where it needs to be, it usually doesn't move. Its long barrel gives it a high muzzle velocity and good long-range accuracy.
Airborne forces can also count on the firepower of the 17 pdr despite its size, the gun can be delivered to the airborne bridgehead in the enormous Hamilcar glider.
